Worrying does not take away tomorrow’s trouble, it takes away today’s peace.
Telling yourself or someone else not to worry is something that is easy to do, but much harder to accomplish in reality.
Instead of telling ourselves not to worry we must fully engage in exercises that divert us from worrying.
For people like myself getting away from worry means, meditation, hoping, and continuing to believe that there is more to life than the current circumstances that try and bind us.
You are not your circumstances, and your life isn’t going to get better without a change in attitude. If you notice that you are applying the same method of worry to your problems when they arise and you aren’t seeing a change in anything, please take the alternatives to worrying seriously.
Living a peaceful life means choosing to use alternatives when it comes to developing methods of coping with the stress of everyday life. Believe in something else besides worrying!
You are good enough, smart enough, beautiful enough, strong enough. Believe it and stop letting insecurity run your life.
No matter what feelings have us down at certain points in our lives, and have us feeling as though we aren’t made to overcome whatever complications that we are going through we must take time to realize the fact that we are bigger than our problems, despite how small they may make us feel. You are good enough; to overcome those who try to bring you down, because when someone or something is trying to bring you down, remember they are beneath you.
You are good enough to stand up for what is right, we all have our flaws, true, but if you don’t stand up for what is right, no one will. You are good enough to receive what you fought hard for. Don’t be ashamed of being blessed for your hard work you deserve it. It is important not to gloat and to be too proud, but being blessed for your hard work is nothing to be ashamed of. You are good enough for this world, the real question is , is the world good enough for you?
Don’t limit yourself. Many people limit themselves to what they think they can do. You can go as far as your mind lets you. What you believe, remember, you can achieve.
Too many of us choose to limit ourselves by not using everything that we have inside of us, to get where we need to go. How many times have you seen someone who you know or knew growing up, that seemed to be less talented, and less resourceful than everyone else, but now that person seems to be one of the most favored people you have ever seen.
There was once a woman who grew up in a tough environment. People told her she was never going to amount to much else than everyone else that grew up where she did. People told her that as a woman there wasn’t much that she could do, or many people that she could help change, and that her dreams were crazy and ridiculous.
What if I told you that this woman, Mother Teresa, helped millions by feeding them, and loving them because she was willing to use her whole box of crayons! Use everything you have inside of you, consistently, work from your heart, and just love the people around you, and you will make a huge
Take control of your life. Your happiness is in your hands.
Losing your way? We all do, so don’t feel convicted or condemned. One simple fact about life is that it is very hard at times. Sometimes we get in situations so undesirable to us, that we feel that we don’t even get who we are as a person anymore, and what we really want out of life.
We have all been there, whether we choose to admit it or not, and it is because of this adversity, that we are finally able to decide what we truly want out of life.
One thing you must do to find your way is to take control of your life. Start making decisions that you actually want to make, and stop living life for everyone other than yourself. You have so much inside of you, and if you truly want to help this world, if you still have breath, then you are able to! Just get back up again, keep pushing forward, and keep standing up when life pushes you down.
Take every chance you get in life, because some things only happen once. If you prepare yourself at every point as well as you can, you will be able to grasp opportunity for broader experience when it appears.
When you prepare greatly for every aspect in life, it may seem as though what luck you have greatly increases. Staying on top of the crazy horned bull that we call life can be a difficult task, and is a task that we have that will cause us to fall off at certain points.
When we practice and prepare we help to perfect our craft, which is why a person who is dedicated to something should prepare as much as possible for it, so that when opportunities present themselves, they may be more easily seized.
Preparing yourself at every point won’t guarantee any success without struggle, but it will guarantee that you are in a much better spot than you would be if you chose not to prepare at all. Don’t let life pass you by, grasp every opportunity, and delight in every opportunity you are given as well.
Enjoy the little things in life, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.
Doing the little things in life will take you across the biggest mountains, as long as you are consistent in doing them throughout your lifetime. A little can become a lot, but one must take his or her life into their own hands. Nobody can make your life better than you can make it if you are willing to give it a solid try.
Every little step that you take forward in your life means something. Every small piece of homework you do in grade school, every paper you type up in college, every relationship you experience (even those that only lasted for a couple of weeks), every cookout, every dinner, every get together, every single part of your past, is part of the reason why you are where you are at this moment.
Remember that every single moment you can you must be willing to make your life your own. Live your life the way you want to live life, and remember every little step you take in life will eventually mean something.
Take a chance. Because you never know how absolutely perfect something could turn out to be.
Many of us have dreams, and promises that we have pushed down in our lives. Sometimes we subject ourselves to remaining stagnant in life, because we are so unsure of ourselves that we choose to not even try in certain instances. We have to go through life with the attitude that if we try we might fail, but if we never try we will most certainly fail.
Every day we are faced with new decisions, and these are the small battles that we have to win so that we may win the bigger battles. If you aren’t willing to not even try to overcome the smaller battles each day, chances are you will have no chance when going up against the much larger aspects of life.
Instead of not trying and never knowing what you are truly capable of, just do what your heart tells you to do, try new things, take risks, and only then will you truly go the places that you are capable of going.
Read books. Care about things. Get excited. Try not to be too down on yourself. Enjoy the ever present game of knowing.
Living a healthy life is about engaging yourself in it, and doing the things that you need to do to make you become better. We should do things like read books, because there are always struggles that we are going through now, that someone else has probably experienced. It is very easy to learn from someone else’s experience so that we won’t repeat the same mistakes.
Being excited about life is also very crucial. When we get down on ourselves we limit ourselves. Instead of beating up ourselves for making mistakes, or for failing when we thought we were doing the right thing, we have to be willing to forget about our mishaps and continue to push forward.
We must continue to seek knowledge and experience as much of life as we possibly can, only then will we be enjoying the ever-present game of knowing.
Keep your head up. God gives his hardest battles to his strongest soldiers.
Keeping a cool humble demeanor, avoiding being too proud, and keeping your hopes up high, are things that are very beneficial for you to do in your life so that you may ultimately become who you desire to be. Keeping your hopes up high isn’t always the easiest task to accomplish, especially when life gets tough.
To keep your hopes up high you have to first adjust your thinking to do so. If you are constantly thinking, speaking, hearing and seeing negative words, chances are you will have a lot of trouble with keeping a joyous and hopeful attitude, as you deal with life, and all of it’s troubles.
Instead of nonchalantly allowing negative energy to infiltrate your life, and your thinking, be proactive and aggressive in seeking a more positive environment for yourself to be immersed in.
Thinking positively in this world is very important in being able to sustain the hope and right attitudes needed to make the best out of each situation in life, which will very greatly affect the quality of life for us as well.
Every human walks around with a certain kind of sadness. They may not wear it on their sleeves, but it’s there if you look deep. Life is ironic it takes sadness to know what happiness is. Noise to appreciate silence. Absence to value presence.
In life and all of it’s business we have to take time out to be appreciative for it, and for all that it entails. We may not be the healthiest, but we have enough health to live, we may not be the wealthiest but we have enough wealth to live, these are things we should be grateful for, because some people that were here yesterday are gone today because of the lacking of one of these two things.
Sometimes we make life more difficult than it really is, and instead of being appreciative for who we really are, and what we are capable of becoming, we let life and its circumstances get us down instead.
Take some time out each day to reflect upon your performance for that day, the application of your mind, and the plans and goals you may have for tomorrow. Doing so will help unleash your full potential.
