Whatever the human mind can conceive of and believe, it can accomplish. Others are not always capable of establishing the true identity. They see what they ‘want’ to see but beyond your mess, God sees the beauty He created and still thinks it’s perfect! Note that sometimes not getting what you want is a wonderful stroke of luck.
God has planned ways of living for all of us, but it is up to us to choose how. We all have had days (and perhaps even years) when life just doesn’t seem to go our way. It’s almost always mental, when there’s a road block in your way. When you place a kind of mental road block it becomes something to be afraid of. You may doubt that you can achieve the next goal or milestone, but it’s just your mind that is playing tricks on you. Don’t judge by the harvest you are harvesting every day, but by the seeds you are planting, and because you haven’t closed the deal today, it doesn’t mean you’re never going to. Don’t expect that people will bring happiness to your life. Bring in your own happiness, because some people are extremely good in snaffling back what they gave, when you’re no longer worthwhile for them. Believe life is worth living, and your conviction will help create the truth. Don’t let anyone ever dull your sparkle and try to love your life and live it without competing with the next person, so you can be the best person the world has ever had. Remember always that your character should be greater than your circumstances, and always make a total effort, even if the odds are against you because everything has elegance, but not everyone can see. Never forget that nothing happens unless you do it!
Christmas is my favorite time of the year! There are different ways to practice kindness this season. One way to be kind is to open your eyes and be active when you see people in need. Do you notice when people around us needs a helping hand? A sense of community is created when people are kind to those who need help. Sometimes people just need to hear some encouraging and kind words in order to bring a smile to their face, so why not just do it already? Being kind to someone could change their entire day if you let it. Try and put this to the test by complimenting someone today, or maybe even reach out to one of your friends and let them know that you are proud of them. The little things mean the most to people and go a long way, so be kind to others and get some good karma on your side.
People may not remember what you said, or what you did, but they will always remember how you made them feel. Why not leave them with something positive this season. The holidays arrive each year with an abundance of expectations. We’re expected to be having fun and feeling joy, to be surrounded by loved ones and a warm, connected family to which we effortlessly belong. We’re expected to be busy and enjoying all sorts of exciting and festive activities, doing special holiday things. In short, we’re expected to be happy…well, actually, not just happy, happier than we are at any other time of the year. There are people out there who struggle every single day to get out of bed and do normal life things, so if they hear something negative, it could set them over the edge. That is why I think it is crucial for people to be kind to others and just learn to stop being so mean and hateful. The truth is, many people do not have warm and loving families to go home to, relatives with whom they feel they genuinely belong. Many are not busy with exciting and interesting things to do throughout the season. And the fact that they aren’t having the holiday season they’re expected to have makes them feel even worse about themselves — less joyful and less happy. It can be as simple as a smiling at someone, giving up your old wears to someone who cannot afford it, or buying food for the hungry, homeless man. It’s a way of connecting, if only for a short moment, with those people we pass in our daily lives. Everyone is affected by an act of kindness. Kindness is contagious and you never know just how big of an impact a small gesture of kindness can have.
There are many ways to be kind and many opportunities to practice. Perhaps kindness is a value that could add more satisfaction to and strengthen your relationships. It doesn’t have to cost anything, either; what’s important is that it’s an act of expressing genuine care for another person. In fact, there’s no limit to the ways in which we can be kind to others – all we need to do is pay attention to those around us and start seeing opportunities to help! Whatever it might be for you, give yourself the space to honor the transition that this season brings and to welcome its gifts with open arms. We must reorient ourselves towards kindness, compassion, service, love, and simplicity — the qualities that this season’s teachings are all about.
Life is too short to allow the trivialities of life to become huge issues because of one’s pride. It is better to lose your pride with someone you love rather than to lose that someone you love with your useless pride.
Sometimes we need to accept the imperfections which plague our lives, set aside our pride and communicate with the people who mean the most to us – even if we don’t want to. Never be too proud to apologize and recognize when you are wrong. Never let your pride and reputation stop you from doing what is right by others.
Apologizing does not always mean you are wrong and the other person is right. It just means you value your relationship more than your ego. Life is much too short and too dear to lose those we adore, especially for circumstances in which we are responsible. Take time out to make the people you love feel special. Remember the way that you treat others is the way that you will soon be treated, and to love your loved ones according to this very important principle.
We all have our share of faults, though many of us fail to fess up to them. When your pride is gone, what will you have? Will you still have the respect and love of the people who are most important? Will you still have your dignity and self respect? there is no one perfect person roaming the earth – no matter what people might tell you.
As long as you are proud you cannot know God. A proud man is always looking down on thing and people: and, of course, as long as you are looking down you cannot see something that is above you. Make decisions based on the wisdom of your whole being, and take action when you know that you are in the wrong. Pride will cost you everything but leave you with nothing!!
You need not boast when you have the answers. You need not judge when you know you are right. You need not exaggerate when others don’t believe. You need not defend yourself when being ridiculed because a great man is always willing to be little.
Humility is one of the hardest traits to learn, especially in these times, but is in reality one of the most important traits a person can have who is interested in success. A person with humility knows when to be quiet and when to speak, even though people around them may expect for them to be willing to fulfill social norms.
The greatest people among us are always willing to be small if it means that success can be achieved. A level headed person knows that life isn’t about being superior to your fellow man, and is more about being superior to your former self.
Acquire the experience of being humble. Realize there is always room to learn, no one is perfect including yourself, and be willing to share your success to help others along the way.
Hard work, and a humble resolve are the catalysts for some of the greatest things known to mankind. Show how much of a difference that you can make in your own life and in the lives of the people around you by living in this way.
