Knowing something and applying it are two different matters. It is possible to be an expert on manners and yet eat the wrong salad! It is possible to be an expert on the word of God and yet not apply that knowledge in your daily life. As our visions and expectations are great, so also must our faith be exceptional so as to receive uncommon accomplishments.
A sovereign God will never take second place in our lives. God is full of love and mercy to every sinner who repents. But in His holiness, God cannot and does not wink at our sin or treat it lightly. His terrible wrath against all unrepentant sinners, as seen especially in the fearful doctrine of eternal punishment in hell, should cause us to fear sinning because we fear God! Gratitude opens our eyes to all that God is doing around us. It helps us cultivate a heart that is satisfied and trusts God rather than complaining about our circumstances and groaning against Him. Growing closer to God and having a personal relationship with Him starts with an open heart ready to welcome in God’s loving spirit. Spending time with God should be a lifelong habit. If you are ready to find God again, ask yourself what commitment you are making today so that God and His Word will become a habit in your life? Identify the biggest distractions in your life and don’t allow them to get in the way of building up your relationship with God. He is ready to receive you with open arms.
Growing closer to God happens bit-by-bit, a little at a time each day. But before you load yourself up with tons of guilt and anxiety about why you have a hard time spending time with God regularly, I want to tell you that you’re not alone in this struggle. trials and troubles are prevalent in the world today, people of exceptional faith in God still thrives above all challenges and triumph exceedingly because they know their God and they call upon Him, and as they knew that He never fail, they act and speak in His name and they rely on their speech or their action in His name, and they receive their uncommon expectation. How big are your plans this year, and how wide is your vision. Believers need to join this group of “faith-filled” people who will do exploits this year. This can only be achieved through fervent and unrelenting prayer of faith. How can God’s people today acquire such powerful faith? God asks you to keep an eye on the ball. We are to “keep our eyes on God.” When life’s challenges start to overwhelm us, don’t turn your eyes off God. You need to develop an exceptional faith this year so as to witness all round uncommon exploits.
Cheers to a new year and another chance for us to get it right. 2018 is over. 2019 is here. As we start the journey of this New Year it is a good time to reflect on the year that is ending and look forward into the year that is soon to begin. Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.
All of us wonder what the new year will bring. I don’t know of any more relevant and practical advice for us at the start off 2019 than to say that the old year ends, a new begins with pages clean and new; And what is written on each page will now depend on you. We don’t have to live our lives imprisoned by our past because you can’t relive the year that’s past, erasing every wrong; for once a year – or day – is spent, It is forever gone. We are to allow a heavenly perspective to govern our earthly walk! Every decision, every activity, every plan and purpose is to be considered in the light of eternity. Everything is to be laid out before the Lord and considered not from an earthly, sensual perspective, but from the viewpoint of Heaven because the steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD, and He delights in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; For the LORD upholds him with His hand.
I think that the start of the New Year is a good time for us to rise to that challenge and to say to ourselves that I am going to, with the help of God, forget my past. I am going to stop torturing myself about what I did or didn’t do. This New Year is a good time to stop being chained to our past failures. Don’t give up in dark despair if you have failed some test; Seek God’s forgiveness and resolve henceforth to do your best. Resolve each precious day to do things good and kind and pure; Though days and years may pass away, these things shall still endure. You know not where your path may lead nor what’s beyond the hill; But know that God walks at your side, if you will do God’s will. We should remember that all things are possible with God, though days be bright or dim;
So do your best and know that you can leave the rest to God. Be encouraged, the future rests in the good hands of a God who loves you more than you can imagine. You may stumble this year, but you won’t completely fall. This is God’s promise to you.
Thank you all for your support in 2018! Happy New Year to you, your friends and family! Here’s to 2019!!! 🍾🥂 I LOVE YOU ALL!!!
Are you facing a seemingly impossible situation? Is what you’re asking God for seem unlikely to come to pass? Is your faith being tested? Perhaps, you feel completely trapped, hedged in and overwhelmed, with no solution in sight. Maybe you’re confronted with a challenge where there is no resolution. Or, your heart is heavy with doubt as you can’t figure out what to do next, for there appears to be nothing you can do about what you now face. On an emotional roller-coaster, you could be wondering, “How can things change for the better?” However, impossibilities are the platforms upon which God does His best work. Have faith. With man it may be impossible. But with God, all things are possible.
The perfect sweet spot with the Lord is when we have to trust Him rather than ourselves. We are called to walk by faith, not by our strength, cleverness, or insights. The Lord always works by ways and means that seem impossible. Never feel uncomfortable for feeling different, or feeling God is pulling you to a new chapter in your life. Just learn to trust and have faith in what God has planned for you. You’ve even considered giving up and your hope is at an all time low. But no need to fret, because God is purposely making you uncomfortable in order to make you move! His purpose is greater than your understanding. When all else fails-when your every plan and scheme has been exhausted-that is the time for you to cast everything on God. It is time for you to give up all confidence in finding deliverance anywhere else. Then, once you are ready to believe, you are to see God not as a potter who needs clay, but as a Creator who works from nothing. And, out of nothing that is of this world or its materials, God will work in ways and means you never could have conceived. The blessed reality is that God grants deliverance. When you see only impossibilities in your life and all your ways are hedged up, there is still a God in heaven Who can save to the uttermost. He hears the needy when they cry and He delivered much more. Just trust GOD because Faith does not operate in the realm of the possible. There is no glory for God in that which is humanly possible. Faith begins where man’s power ends.
Thanksgiving is acknowledging the God behind your blessing, the God behind any good thing in your life (gift of life, joy, peace). To acknowledge means to admit, to recognize, to accept, to reply – to reply God that He is behind the blessings in your life, e.g you can talk, your legs and hands can move, God is behind it. It doesn’t matter whether your blessings are small or big, God is behind it.
How can you be thankful when your doctor says it’s cancer? How can you feel grateful when the one you love just walked out of your life? Or when you’ve been fired . . . or your dream has collapsed . . . or an economic tsunami has wiped out all you’ve worked for? Sometimes the words come from our heart, a true expression of profound gratitude. Sometimes it’s simply the right response, even if it doesn’t feel true. Honestly, I think most of us have had times when we felt like we had nothing to be thankful for. We know that’s not right, but it’s the reality. When we are in the midst of trials, God is fine tuning us to be stronger and bolder for Him. Giving thanks in all of our circumstances tells the world that our God is greater and stronger than anything it has to offer. Thanksgiving is recounting the past acts of God. There are times we need to look back in order not to forget the benefit of the LORD by going down memory lane and one of the reasons man doesn’t have gratitude in his heart is because man’s focus is on material things.
Giving thanks to God is easy when life is going great and everything seems to fall into place. Why is it so hard to give thanks when we are down? Instead of turning our focus during a crisis to God, we instead turn our focus on ourselves and how the world says we should react. When you think of mainstream media, the acceptable reactions to problems vary but are typically negative. When faced with a difficult situation, the world media trains us to believe our situation is hopeless and we should react out of a sense of fear. You might not be where you want to be but you are not where you used to be. You might not have what you desire but God has not given you what you deserve. No matter how we feel, no matter how dark things seem, there is always something to be thankful for. It is also giving thanks to God for many blessings which should not be limited to only good times but also bad times thereby giving us the opportunity to demonstrate our faith in God. We need to remember always that gratitude happens in quiet pauses and moments, not when you have a giant to-do list and you’re racing around. Thanksgiving brings perfection and perfection brings completeness. Anything you see in your life today is just the beginning, God has the ability to bring it to perfection. If you see any sign of the goodness of God in your life, begin to rejoice because it can only be better.
If we can achieve the ultimate state of self-mastery, we will more consistently have the personal power and peace of mind we need to get ahead, since we are not giving our time, energy, and power away to others; we are taking responsibility for ourselves and how much we can affect change in our lives. God uses uncharted territories to prepare us for new and great things. There is no growth to be found in the stagnant and mundane. Allow life’s newest “surprise” to stretch you to new limits in the best ways possible.
Those people who have the greatest success first needed to believe in what they have to offer the world. You need to trust that your unique contribution is worthwhile. You are the only one who can make it happen for you. Others can support and encourage you, but you have to find the energy within in order to step into the center of your own life and take charge. God puts dreams in our hearts and writes a destiny over our lives. And if we trust Him enough to take Him at His word, we will find ourselves on a journey toward the fulfillment of that dream. Life’s challenges are not supposed to paralyze you, they’re supposed to help you discover who you are. One cannot get through life without pain. What we can do is choose how to use the pain life presents to us and when you don’t understand the reason behind your struggle just know that God is preparing you. He’s developing your gifts, talents, and abilities. He’s broadening your understanding of how to navigate your way through life. We grow through adversity. We need not seek it out; we can all look back at moments when our lives were in utter chaos, desolation and despair. Growth comes when we respond to adversity by stretching just an edge beyond our talent and experience and through our struggles, God molds, shapes, and refines us. He gets us prepared to effectively fulfill our ultimate purpose in the earth because we all have weak spots and areas of inconsistency in our character. Just as God is preparing me, He is preparing you too. He’s perfecting the gifts in you. And in his timing, he will elevate you. In your struggles, God is preparing you for better. Be thankful for every experience and your latter will be greater. Always remember that life’s challenges are not supposed to paralyze you, they’re supposed to help you discover who you are.
Faith that it’s not always in your hands or things don’t always go the way you planned, but you have to have faith that there is a plan for you, and you must follow your heart and believe in yourself no matter what. Have Faith and Believe In Yourself.
If you truly want to be respected by people you love, you must prove to them that you can survive without them. You are a piece of the puzzle of someone else’s life. You may never know where you fit, but others will fill the holes in their lives with pieces of you. A person without faith in themselves is like a candle without a flame, though it may have a physical presence, it is not really living up to its full potential because it is not providing any light to the world. Having faith in ones own self, is a quality that breeds more qualities. Believe in yourself, take on your challenges, dig deep within yourself to conquer fears. Never let anyone bring you down. You got to keep going. Don’t let fear or insecurity stop you from trying new things. Believe in yourself. Do what you love. And most importantly, be kind to others, even if you don’t like them.
The biggest difference I’ve noticed between successful people and unsuccessful people isn’t intelligence or opportunity or resources. It’s the belief that they can make their goals happen. When someone is able to believe in themselves they are then able to dream, make plans, set goals for themselves, and be motivated and determined to do these things because of the faith they have in themselves. Those who have faith in themselves also rub off on the people around them, and usually help inspire people who are able to make a real change to the world. We must not be afraid to live as the people who we really are deep down in hearts, for in this world of darkness, every candle that is lit will help provide a great amount of light. Always remember that in order to succeed, your desire for success should be greater than your fear of failure because there is nothing more beautiful than believing in yourself.
Whatever you decide to be in life, whatever goals you decide to pursue, there is one thing that is crucial to do, and that is to love and believe in yourself.
When you’re different, sometimes you don’t see the millions of people who accept you for what you are. All you notice is the person who doesn’t. People without faith in themselves are like a candle without a flame, though it may have a physical presence, it is not really living up to its full potential because it is not providing any light to the world. Having faith in ones own self is a quality that breeds more qualities. When were able to believe in ourselves they are then able to dream, make plans, set goals for themselves, and be motivated and determined to do these things because of the faith they have in themselves.
Confidence comes not from always being right but from not fearing to be wrong. Those who have faith in themselves also rub off on the people around them, and usually help inspire people who are able to make a real change to the world. We must not be afraid to live as the people who we really are deep down in hearts, for in this world of darkness, every candle that is lit will help provide a great amount of light. You need to have faith in yourself, too. Believe that you can set out to do what you want to accomplish. Believe that you have the skills and abilities to make something great and if you don’t possess those things, believe that you’re capable of developing them so you can get to work. Don’t wait until everything is just right. It will never be perfect. There will always be challenges, obstacles, and less than perfect conditions. So what? Get started now. With each step you take, you will grow stronger and stronger, more and more skilled, more and more self-confident, and more and more successful. And don’t forget to thank everyone who supported you, encouraged you, helped you, and loved you. You have the stellar people who cheered for you the whole way even those you never even met face to face!
The fact that with God ‘all things are possible’ is proven by the fact that God created the entire universe out of nothing. There is more than one thing that God cannot do and that is that God cannot lie!
Do you sometimes find yourself facing a seemingly impossible situation? It might be a relationship that seems to have broken down irretrievably, or an issue to do with health, finances or something else where change seems impossible. With God there is always hope, no matter how bad things look. Nothing is impossible with God. His power makes all things possible. We know that for every effect there has to be a cause but there does not have to be an effect for every cause because God is uncaused. So many of our dreams at first seem impossible, then they seem improbable, and then, when we summon the will, they soon become inevitable. Impossible only means that you haven’t found the solution yet. In our lives we will have times that will test our faith. We have times that will make us feel that nothing is going right and there seems to be no end in sight. However, things have a way of working out and having faith, belief and a focused positive attitude will allow you to get through those tough times. With God’s help you will get through.
What we can or cannot do, what we consider possible or impossible, is rarely a function of our true capability. It is more likely a function of our beliefs about who we are and we would accomplish many more things if we did not think of them as impossible. The limits of the possible can only be defined by going beyond them into the impossible and there is nothing impossible to him who will try. We need to also understand that most of the things worth doing in the world had been declared impossible before they were done.No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide a way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. Whatever struggles you are facing at the moment, however difficult life looks, however impossible the situation seems, it is important to remember his love for you and trust that ‘with God all things are possible’.
God doesn’t owe us anything yet in His grace, He still gives us good things. He sees the perils that are in our path that we cannot see. He speaks to us in mercy and grace and He builds us up to meet the dangers and be prepared to receive the things we could not wisely use today. There are many things which we can employ tomorrow that we cannot wisely use today.
The faithfulness of God is true and has been proven many times. God cannot lie, nor can He break an unconditional promise that He says He will fulfill. Every covenant He made is kept and every promise or foretelling has or will come true. When we are going through the ordeal of being unfairly attacked, when we are being lied about, when our reputation is being publicly smeared, when our friends betray us, when a spouse abandons us, it may appear impossible that such things could accomplish anything good, but they do. The key is the word “appear.” We see far less than what God sees. The good that may come from the treachery of others is not planned by the hand of man, is not seen in advance, and is not seen at all except by faith. Only God can fully satisfy the hungry heart of man.
Many times we mistakenly compare God’s faithfulness to ours. Sometimes on, Sometimes off. However, God’s faithfulness is far beyond what we could ever succeed on our own. if there is a measure of faithfulness accredited to us, It’s all because of his faithfulness that give us strength to do it. Nothing of God dies when a man of God dies. We die, but the promises of God live on. They bury us, but they don’t bury God’s promises with us. Your death cannot nullify God’s faithfulness. Our God is the God of the future. He is the God of the generations to come. God is so faithful that anyone who seeks Him can find Him. Faith is a gift, but even a gift must be opened to be enjoyed. As we implement our faith, we begin to realize more and more about God’s faithfulness to us. God cannot act out of character with His essential nature. None of God’s attributes can ever contradict any other attribute, but all harmonize perfectly with each other. Since He is perfect and unchangeable, He can never cease to be what He is. Everything that God has done or everything He will do, is consistent with all that He is. Everything that God does will always agree with all that God is.
Trusting God doesn’t come easy. We can’t see, touch, or hear His voice, at least not in the same way we do the humans in our life. Sometimes we put our trust in objects and other times we put our trust in man. But the reality is, God alone sustains us! We are to rely on HIM for all of our needs. To rely is to depend on with full trust or confidence.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do and he will show you which path to take. Don’t ask God to guide your steps if you’re not willing to move your feet and God will not permit any troubles to come upon us, unless He has a specific plan by which great blessing can come out of the difficulty because the beginning of anxiety is the end of faith, and the beginning of true faith is the end of anxiety. We all lean on our own understanding; we all depend on our own strength; we fail to acknowledge him, which is why we get so confused and start to question things; and we don’t trust in the Lord, but we trust in ourselves. Before doing anything, we need to try this: pray before you do anything. Lift God up, and really believe it. Don’t just say it and know that you’re still going to rely on yourself, but truly believe that you didn’t do any of this: God did this.
Dependence is something that has to be relearned on a regular basis because the blessings of a God-dependent life are many. Living every day as if our every breath came from the Lord causes the believer to rest under the good hand of God. I have learned that faith means trusting in advance what will only make sense in reverse and we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. Genuine faith is relying on God’s direction and on who he is. God is reliable. He knows what you need, and he wants to meet those needs. Unfortunately, we think we know better. We think we have a better plan. We want to use our logic and get to the answer in a way that makes us look good and doesn’t require risk. But God wants us to grow, so he takes us a different way. Faith is the vision of the heart; it sees God in the dark as well as in the day and you’ll never know that God is all you need until God is all you’ve got.
