Knowing something and applying it are two different matters. It is possible to be an expert on manners and yet eat the wrong salad! It is possible to be an expert on the word of God and yet not apply that knowledge in your daily life. As our visions and expectations are great, so also must our faith be exceptional so as to receive uncommon accomplishments.
A sovereign God will never take second place in our lives. God is full of love and mercy to every sinner who repents. But in His holiness, God cannot and does not wink at our sin or treat it lightly. His terrible wrath against all unrepentant sinners, as seen especially in the fearful doctrine of eternal punishment in hell, should cause us to fear sinning because we fear God! Gratitude opens our eyes to all that God is doing around us. It helps us cultivate a heart that is satisfied and trusts God rather than complaining about our circumstances and groaning against Him. Growing closer to God and having a personal relationship with Him starts with an open heart ready to welcome in God’s loving spirit. Spending time with God should be a lifelong habit. If you are ready to find God again, ask yourself what commitment you are making today so that God and His Word will become a habit in your life? Identify the biggest distractions in your life and don’t allow them to get in the way of building up your relationship with God. He is ready to receive you with open arms.
Growing closer to God happens bit-by-bit, a little at a time each day. But before you load yourself up with tons of guilt and anxiety about why you have a hard time spending time with God regularly, I want to tell you that you’re not alone in this struggle. trials and troubles are prevalent in the world today, people of exceptional faith in God still thrives above all challenges and triumph exceedingly because they know their God and they call upon Him, and as they knew that He never fail, they act and speak in His name and they rely on their speech or their action in His name, and they receive their uncommon expectation. How big are your plans this year, and how wide is your vision. Believers need to join this group of “faith-filled” people who will do exploits this year. This can only be achieved through fervent and unrelenting prayer of faith. How can God’s people today acquire such powerful faith? God asks you to keep an eye on the ball. We are to “keep our eyes on God.” When life’s challenges start to overwhelm us, don’t turn your eyes off God. You need to develop an exceptional faith this year so as to witness all round uncommon exploits.
Remain focused always!
