Every Second Is A Chance To Turn Your Life Around

Every second is a chance to turn your life around.  Don’t quit, and don’t give up, even when you’ve experienced failure. Instead, allow God to use failure to move you forward.

What memory in your life are you allowing to continually manipulate you? Every time it comes up you think, “I wish I’d never done that! I regret that!” And you’re manipulated by it. Some of you are allowing your past to control your future, and that’s a mistake. Your past is past. You can’t change the past by worrying about it. Let it go and focus on the future. It’s not so much where you’ve been, but what direction your feet are headed now that counts. The past doesn’t have to control you anymore. I don’t care what your failure is in life. You are not washed up unless you choose to quit, unless you choose to give up, unless you choose to reject the grace of God. The choice is condemnation or confession. You can either live in condemnation or you can confess it and get on with life. Forget the former and focus on the future. Worldly sorrow is demoralizing, depressing, and it causes death. One of the most devastating emotions in life is self-pity. You never learn anything at a pity party and almost every success in life is built on a failure. You learn from it. I’m convinced that some things are only learned through failure.

Most of us are experts at passing blame on to others. When we refuse to admit our mistakes, they are wasted. I don’t know where we get the idea that we have to pretend that we’re perfect. We’re not. You’re not perfect! And neither am I. Too many times people get stuck on their pasts, and let their pasts weigh them down more and more and eventually get to the point to where they are no longer productive members of society. Some of us think that just because we feel stuck in a certain way of life or lifestyle that we are forever condemned to it. With a lot of hard work, a serious change in our mindset, and usually with a complete change in the environment we are around everyday, we can change our lives at any given time. We must start with appreciating what we already have, and using what we have to start the change in our lives. We must also seek knowledge, there is nothing on this earth that someone hasn’t went through that you may be going through today and hasn’t written about. Use free resources such as the free public library in your neighborhood to read and gain wisdom. In order to change our life, we must also focus. We have to find things that interest us to remain interested, right? So play to your interests, and do what you want to do, and not what everyone else around you wants you to do. Be honest with yourself and be honest with others. God has a way of overriding our big mistakes. He works them all out for our GOOD.

Worry Less So You Can Live More

Man cannot discover new oceans unless he has the courage to lose sight of the shore. Over-thinking causes problems that weren’t even there to begin with. We all need to stop thinking so much, just go day by day and be happy with what we got.

LiveMoreWorryLess

Sometimes you just have to stop thinking and just go where your heart takes you. Stop thinking about a million other things that will pass and resolve themselves and enjoy the moment because you will never have the same moment again. Negative thinking is definitely one of the biggest problems a lot of us suffer from. Ironically, the more you try to rationalize it, the more you tend to only think about it and in turn become more negative. Stop thinking about the past, and don’t worry too much about whats going to happen in the future. Your presence is a present, so live for today, and appreciate everyone and everything you have. Stop thinking about what you don’t have, what you wish you had, who walked out of your life, and whatever else that falls in that category. Think about what you have, who you have in your life, and how fortunate you are.

Open the gates and seize the day, for today is the day you start worrying about what everyone else’s thoughts, and live for your own. When we choose to live in the moment, in every moment in our lives we choose to do just that. We wouldn’t be human if we weren’t able to think about our actions before committing to them, but sometimes we tend to over analyze situations. From this day forward make a promise to think less sometimes, and live more all the time. Make it a point daily to commit a random act of charity. If you see an elderly person that needs help, help them. If someone needs to switch lanes in traffic let them over. Just try to be as spontaneous as possible in order to live your life to the fullest. Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. If you have good thoughts they’ll shine on your face like sun beams and you will always look lovely.

Nothing Is Impossible With Our God

The fact that with God ‘all things are possible’ is proven by the fact that God created the entire universe out of nothing. There is more than one thing that God cannot do and that is that God cannot lie!

Do you sometimes find yourself facing a seemingly impossible situation? It might be a relationship that seems to have broken down irretrievably, or an issue to do with health, finances or something else where change seems impossible. With God there is always hope, no matter how bad things look. Nothing is impossible with God. His power makes all things possible. We know that for every effect there has to be a cause but there does not have to be an effect for every cause because God is uncaused. So many of our dreams at first seem impossible, then they seem improbable, and then, when we summon the will, they soon become inevitable. Impossible only means that you haven’t found the solution yet. In our lives we will have times that will test our faith. We have times that will make us feel that nothing is going right and there seems to be no end in sight. However, things have a way of working out and having faith, belief and a focused positive attitude will allow you to get through those tough times. With God’s help you will get through.

What we can or cannot do, what we consider possible or impossible, is rarely a function of our true capability. It is more likely a function of our beliefs about who we are and we would accomplish many more things if we did not think of them as impossible. The limits of the possible can only be defined by going beyond them into the impossible and there is nothing impossible to him who will try. We need to also understand that most of the things worth doing in the world had been declared impossible before they were done. No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide a way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. Whatever struggles you are facing at the moment, however difficult life looks, however impossible the situation seems, it is important to remember his love for you and trust that ‘with God all things are possible’.

The Big Picture of God’s Faithfulness

God doesn’t owe us anything yet in His grace, He still gives us good things. He sees the perils that are in our path that we cannot see. He speaks to us in mercy and grace and He builds us up to meet the dangers and be prepared to receive the things we could not wisely use today. There are many things which we can employ tomorrow that we cannot wisely use today.

The faithfulness of God is true and has been proven many times. God cannot lie, nor can He break an unconditional promise that He says He will fulfill. Every covenant He made is kept and every promise or foretelling has or will come true. When we are going through the ordeal of being unfairly attacked, when we are being lied about, when our reputation is being publicly smeared, when our friends betray us, when a spouse abandons us, it may appear impossible that such things could accomplish anything good, but they do. The key is the word “appear.” We see far less than what God sees. The good that may come from the treachery of others is not planned by the hand of man, is not seen in advance, and is not seen at all except by faith. Only God can fully satisfy the hungry heart of man.

Many  times we mistakenly compare God’s faithfulness to ours. Sometimes on, Sometimes off. However, God’s faithfulness is far beyond what we could ever succeed on our own. if there is a measure of faithfulness accredited to us, It’s all because of his faithfulness that give us strength to do it. Nothing of God dies when a man of God dies. We die, but the promises of God live on. They bury us, but they don’t bury God’s promises with us. Your death cannot nullify God’s faithfulness. Our God is the God of the future. He is the God of the generations to come. God is so faithful that anyone who seeks Him can find Him. Faith is a gift, but even a gift must be opened to be enjoyed. As we implement our faith, we begin to realize more and more about God’s faithfulness to us. God cannot act out of character with His essential nature. None of God’s attributes can ever contradict any other attribute, but all harmonize perfectly with each other. Since He is perfect and unchangeable, He can never cease to be what He is. Everything that God has done or everything He will do, is consistent with all that He is. Everything that God does will always agree with all that God is.
