Live As If You Were To Die Tomorrow

Don’t postpone life-enriching experiences, by making excuses like I can do that next year when I have more time – because without a sense of urgency you will probably end up not doing them at all. Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.
Who knows whether the gods will add tomorrow to the present hour?  Sometimes there are moments in which our lives and our hearts take over, there are no words needed to describe whats going on, and there is really no need for an explanation for anything. Sometimes we just have to live in the moment, and let our bodies, hearts and souls take over, and let go! If you have never experienced a moment like this before in all actuality, you probably have but, instead of letting yourself just feel the situation, you over analyzed it instead, and hindered the flow. You are never to young to start enjoying life. You should tell that special someone how you really feel. You should start that project you’ve always thought about. You should live today as if it’s your last day. One day it will be and all of those things you’ve been putting off will remain undone. You are never too old to learn because  every day is an opportunity to make a new happy ending.

The moment when you first wake up in the morning is the most wonderful of the twenty-four hours. No matter how weary or dreary you may feel, you possess the certainty that, during the day that lies before you, absolutely anything may happen. And the fact that it practically always doesn’t, matters not a jot. The possibility is always there. You only live once; but if you live it right, once is enough. When we encounter situations in which we feel something in the air, unless it is against your morals and values, try letting yourself go and letting whatever is about to happen, happen. You would be surprised to see how relieving and refreshing it may be to let things happen for once. The only one that will know if it is right to let the moment play out is you, so even though you let yourself go, take caution and don’t over analyze but do think of the consequences. Knowledge helps you enjoy life more. Knowledge engages the mind, opens doors to the imagination. Life becomes a kaleidoscope of wonders, filled with people, places and  experiences you never thought possible. The more knowledge you gain, the more fulfilling living becomes. As you live, your thirst for knowledge grows. Don’t ever save anything for a special occasion. Being alive is the special occasion.

You Can Make A Difference In This World

The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well. Never underestimate the valuable and important difference you make in every life you touch. For the impact you make today has a powerful rippling effect on every tomorrow.
It’s the action, not the fruit of the action, that’s important. You have to do the right thing. It may not be in your power, may not be in your time, that there’ll be any fruit. But that doesn’t mean you stop doing the right thing. You may never know what results come from your action. But if you do nothing, there will be no result. In order to make the most use of our lives it is important that we go into the world, and leave as big of a mark on it as we possibly can. Not just any kind of mark, but a mark that will encourage others to encourage others. A mark that will inspire others to inspire others! A mark that will inspire unity, love, peace, and hope! Every day is a new day and a new beginning, whether we realize it or not we have the ability to inspire others from across the world by just showing that we care. Never forget that you are one of a kind. Never forget that if there weren’t any need for you in all your uniqueness to be on this earth, you wouldn’t be here in the first place. And never forget, no matter how overwhelming life’s challenges and problems seem to be, that one person can make a difference in the world. In fact, it is always because of one person that all the changes that matter in the world come about. So be that one person.

The purpose of life is to contribute in some way to making things better. Be who God meant you to be and you will set the world on fire. It is important to go into the world and make a success for yourself, but only if you are going to use this success in order to help other people in the world succeed. Actual wealth cannot be measured by how much money or material items you may have, wealth can truly only be measured by the number of people that you helped make a positive enough impact on to succeed as well by the end of your lifetime. Do more than belong: participate. Do more than care: help. Do more than believe: practice. Do more than be fair: be kind. Do more than forgive: forget. Do more than dream: work. No work is insignificant. All labor that uplifts humanity has dignity and importance and should be undertaken with painstaking excellence. ever underestimate the difference YOU can make in the lives of others. Step forward, reach out and help. This week reach to someone that might need a lift.

Finding Happiness In Our Darkest Moments

In the time of darkest defeat, victory may be nearest. Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times. If one only remembers to turn on the light.
When life takes you to the darkest places absolutely no-one around you can understand how you feel or what you are going through. Others may have had a similar experience but only you can react to your situations the way that you do. During our tough times we are forced to stare ourselves eye-ball to eye-ball, as though we are standing in the mirror and gazing deep into our very soul. As we engage in these moments of forced self-intimacy we make crucial decisions that redefine who we are, what we want and what we are willing to accept or not accept for our lives. It is the choices that we are forced to make, during this darkest period, that lay the foundation of our powerful life change. Turning on the light during the darkest of times isn’t always the easiest thing to do. Sure sitting in the dark and wallowing in how hard life is for you may seem like a way to relieve your stresses at the time, but in essence it will hold you back from making your hard times better. The only way to get through our negative circumstances and situations is by turning on the light, we have to have hope for the future, and in order to sustain this hope we have to be as positive as possible at all times.

There are few ways in our everyday lives we can turn the light on. For example, smile when your day just seems as though everything that can possibly go wrong is going wrong, instead of telling everyone that you are having such a horrible day. Try to be the positive one out of a group of negative people, trying to influence everyone to see the good in things in spite of the negative. Remember that a few positive words and thoughts can greatly affect the way you perceive your day, and may greatly affect its outcome. I truly believe that there are times in our lives that we are given a place to breakdown. It is through this “breaking down experience,” we undergo a powerful transformation, letting go of all that no longer serves us, arriving at a moment of awakening. Now we rebuild ourselves, truly discovering who we are, what we are about and everything that we stand for — from the ground up. These are the powerful moments of true awakening.

God Will Never Leave Us Alone

God will never leave you empty. If something is taken away, He will replace it with something better. If He denies your request in a certain area, it is because He wishes to give you what is best. If He asks you to put something down, it is so you can pick up something greater.

Most people are too attached to the past, to what they are familiar with, and therefore, miss opportunities that stand right in front of them. Doors may close, but there are always, other, unlimited number of doors – new opportunities. The world is full of opportunities, if we could only see them. The Infinite Power is boundless, and so the possibilities are without number. Not every plan works out. Sometimes, there are losses and failures. Sometimes, there are problems in relationships. Sometimes, people lose their money or job, or meet other unpleasant things. We don’t always have control over these events, but we can exercise control over our mind and attitude.

At times we endure trials so difficult we wonder how we’ll come through it. Life in a broken world means all of us experience loneliness and isolation in various ways.  While it is excruciating to be left alone, a startling question we don’t always get to ask ourselves is: what if we only had ourselves and our own thoughts and feelings to talk to? Where would we be?

Mercifully, the Lord never intended for us to be alone, especially the deepest place: our souls. When we really get that promise, when you know that promise way down deep in your knower, it’ll revolutionize your life. When everything else is stripped away, when all the things we are attached to are gone, we discover that in the end, only God holds life. It’s only God who matters. And his promise is certain. When all else is gone, there is still God. God’s sweet voice saying, I will never leave you nor forsake you.

God is teaching us the only place for your trust is in him. Everything else will fade or let you down. Don’t put your trust in what you have. Life is not what you have. Hear it again: Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have. ‘I will never leave you nor forsake you.’ Trust God and him alone. That’s the one sure thing – God’s promise of his presence.

Nothing Lasts Forever

Nothing stays the same it all gets crushed. It all gets broken. It all passes with time. Only the moment you’re in has any meaning. Even the prettiest flower will die one day. It’s nature’s way of teaching us…. that nothing lasts forever.
Although this statement is subjective to whoever is reading it, an important thing that we must all remember is that this life will not last forever and at any given moment this life can be taken away from us. With that being said we must live our lives everyday as if it may be our last. We must take risks, love, make as many great memories as possible, laugh, be joyous, and be accomplished. The truth about forever is that it is happening right now and the choices you make now, the people you surround yourself with, they all have the potential to affect your life, even who you are, forever.

What I have learned over the years is to try to stay in the moment. I want to feel it all because I’ve realized nothing lasts. We have nothing that is really our own; we hold everything in this world as a loan. Pain is temporary. It may last a minute, or an hour, or a day, or a year, but eventually it will subside and something else will take its place. Last but not least we must leave a mark on this world. We can either leave this world being remembered for the good that we have done, for the bad we have done, or even worse, not be remembered at all. Every day starting today we should take steps towards greatness, and take steps towards creating a legacy that will not only affect our generation, but generations and generations to come. What mark will you leave on the world when your time is over on this earth? People die, I think, but your relationship with them doesn’t. It continues and is ever-changing. So cherish everything that you have today as nothing lasts forever otherwise you’ll regret it after losing them.
