Be Thankful For All The Good


Sometimes it’s easier to focus on what we don’t have, rather than what we do have. It’s important to take time out and remember all of the things to be thankful for that many of us take for granted. Instead of focusing on all the bad, be thankful for all the good. Each day you have is a blessing from God. Enjoy Life.

Those among us who are truly happy will always have a great degree of respect and gratitude for the things that they have in their life. Because these people know at any moment what they have could be gone. Even if you’re health isn’t great, it could be worse and you likely still have some working parts to be thankful for. Perhaps it takes a purer faith to praise God for unrealized blessings than for those we once enjoyed or those we enjoy now.

We would worry less if we praised more. Thanksgiving is the enemy of discontent and dissatisfaction. In this fast-paced society its easy to take things for granted. There are things that we use everyday to help us keep up with the rapid nature of everything that is around us. But instead of being grateful for all of the things that we do have, a larger part of society chooses to focus on the things that they don’t have or wish that they could have. Thankfulness creates gratitude which generates contentment that causes peace.

The only way to sincerely be joyous in life is for a person to have a vast amount of gratitude for it. You simply will not be the same person two months from now after consciously giving thanks each day for the abundance that exists in your life. Be thankful for everything in your life, from the positive to the negative, and be willing to express it outwardly. Make gratitude part of your daily routine. Whatever happens in your life, no matter how troubling things might seem, do not enter the neighborhood of despair. Even when all doors remain closed, God will open up a new path only for you. Be thankful!
